A10 used KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent postmark on TRINIDAD stamp
(PML.4), struck firmly on arrival as a "killer" due the indistinct TRINIDAD dbl-arc blending into the background of the Trinidad 1872 4d grey P.12½ (SG.71), tiny pin-hole.
Exceedingly rare as this combination would not normally happen, let alone survive, almost certainly unique.

B/w photocopies of the complete collection as written-up on about 50 pages with numerals, town cds, TOO-LATE, D22 used Ciudad Bolivar, San Fernando seal, miscellaneous etc. Although the postmarks are not standing out too well against the black stamp backgrounds virtually every stamp can be identified should you have the matching original to compare.

PSRE from COUVA with REGISTRATION NOT ACTIVATED, Trinidad postal history
1890 use of QV 2d PSRE with added QV 4d grey, pair QV 6d olive-black (SG.110,111) pmk'd COUVA B/NO 6 90 to Bishop Auckland, England arriving A/NO 20 90 being an extremely rare example of quadruple 4d postage but due failure to transit through Port Of Spain (circumstances of interruption not yet established) the 2d registration fee could not be employed resulting in there being no Head Office transit cds, no registration label affixed by Port of Spain, and no hooded REGISTERED LONDON transit cds being all the requirements of secure mail.
Mail left Port of Spain NO 6 1890, arrived Barbados NO 8 1890, arrived Plymouth NO 19 1890 as per RMSP homeward schedule attached.

NOTIFICATION OF PARCEL LYING AT A POST OFFICE form with boxed purple "2nd NOTICE/Issued 30/12/30" (manuscript date) posted O.H.M.S. "Sub-Office Parcel Post Advice." to M.W. Hardy, Box 884, P.O.S. with PARCEL POST C/JA 3 31 cds, address deleted in red crayon with "via Guiaco" added with purple straight line "CREOLE PETROLEUM CORPORATION" and "Maturin-Venezuela" applied as arrival acknowledgements.
The Creole Petroleum Corporation was an American oil company formed in 1920 to produce fields on Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela. The company was acquired by Standard Oil of New Jersey in 1928. Until 1951 Creole Petroleum was the world's number one oil producer.

1903 use of Trinidad KE7 ½d newswrapper, the front portion pmk'd Port of Spain E/MR 28 03 with str. line "MISSENT TO GRENADA" and attractively showing Amsterdam 25 APR 03 arrival.

RETRIEVED STOLEN REGISTERED MAIL from PROSECUTING SOLICITORS FILES, Trinidad postal history
1874 cover front to Joseph Veira, Fish Market Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts twice handstruck red str. line "REGISTERED" with 1/- chrome-yellow (SG.74) paying 6d inter-island postage plus 6d reg. fee. Pmk'd SP 8 1874 and rated red "4" and endorsed with "contents not shown/stated no money/(initials)". Missing is the reverse which would have had wax seals but no backstamps, and the case file number "14876/74" as this cover front was evidence in the prosecuting solicitors files against a corrupt postal official.
Three retrieved stolen mail registered covers and one cover front are currently known for period spanning JY 26 1874 to SP 8 1874 all addressed St. Kitts from case file "14876/74". The JY 26 1874 to Mrs Alice Davoren, Palmetto Point with Colonial Postmaster/Trinidad (large stop at base) impressed into reverse wax seal, three dated SP 8 1874 comprising full cover and cover front to Joseph Veira, and to Miss Margaret Rennels, Dieppe Bay (Marriott Lot 378 realised £2,875) with Colonial Postmaster/Trinidad (rosette at base) and POST OFFICE/(arms)/SAN FERNANDO red wax seals on second.

T.18 used Princes Town, Trinidad postal history
1883 use of GB QV 1½d Post Card pmk'd Birmingham JA 31 83 sqc to Mrs Cleaver, Savannah Grande, Trinidad with "T.18" arrival duplex dated C/FE 24 83 on address panel.
On JA 20 1880 Princes Albert and George (later KGV) disembarked ship at San Fernando and took the Cipero Tramway to the town named The Mission Of Savannah Grande, where they planted two pooi trees in the St. Stephens Anglican Church compound, on their way to visit the Devils' Woodyard (famous mud volcano which first erupted 1852) near Indian Walk. To commemorate this event Savannah Grande was re-named Princes Town on FE 18 1880.
